Take me to the scifaith

I'm currently in the process of restructuring this site. Been spending most of my time on my blog and these pages have not been updated in quite a while. So, for now, these pages will be linked to from the blog rather then the other way around. Wayne Hollyoak

What's all this about Intelligent Design?

Is Intelligent Design "Real Science"?

Is Adaptation proof of Evolution?

Why is Evolutionism trying to take over Science?

Why is "science" spending billions daily trying to reverse engineer nature? While at the same time crusading against any suggestion that intelligence is reflected in its design- especially when such suggestions are made in our children's science classrooms.

Complex and Beautiful Peacock Feathers

Let's take a look at the current state of "science" and see what role faith has in it.

Has "science" been robbed of its simplicity and usefulness?

Who are the real enemies of "science"?

Why are there so many angry, or should i say, mad scientists?

Dandelion Seeds await a breeze

What science really is and what it is made out to be are entirely 2 different things, as we shall see. In fact, the mundaness of science can be shocking to some, especially those who aren't aware or willing to accept the fact that only a tiny portion of the stuff considered science is objective at all. It's almost entirely a system of "assumptions", or as a theologian might put it, "faith statements".

Who Says,

I'm Wayne Hollyoak, and by occupation i'm a computer tech and webmaster for a small community hospital in West Virginia. My education has been mainly in the natural sciences with an emphasis on entomology, estuarine biology and ecology.

A little about the author...

In the late 1970's i started to re-examine darwinism due to questions raised by friends. i soon began to realize that one of the central theories of science was not what it had seemed. It had never occurred to me that there could be serious problems with many of the underlying assumptions that science was working off of. Things that were held to be true and trustworthy as a foundation for evolution, natural selection, abiogenesis, the big bang theory, etc. were really shaky assumptions and religious in nature!

I've developed this site as a means of informing others of the existing and poorly understood relationship between faith and science.
