The Amazing Cat
We see them everywhere, they're under out feet, leaving footprints all over out cars. They can make a toy out of anything, jump seemingly impossible heights and when they fall it always seems to be a perfect landing!
They can squeeze into the tightest places and love to take naps on top on paper bags and other weird places.
Their bodies are supple and soft while relaxing, but in an instant they can be running at blazing speeds. Truly a marvel of engineering! A recent TV show rated the domestic cat as the,

"#1 Most Extreme Predator in the World"!
And yet, one can curl up on your lap and be content for hours.
Like dogs, they have taken very well to human companionship even though, the relationship is very different. The "house cat" even seems to have a genetic trigger that will either cause them to be docile and affectionate to humans or become wary, distrusting and even avoid us altogether as feral cats usually are.
The domestic cat seems to be an animal with a built in timer that if in contact with humans within 3 months to a perhaps year after the cat is born they usually take to being a pet. At some point though, the clock runs out and the cat will most likely never be tamable and will be a wild animal the rest of it's life, wary and avoiding humans. Hunting small animals for prey, stalking around like miniature lions.
