When I was a grad student back in the eighties it was required to give a lecture on a subject of interest within my major. I thought that “biological clocks” were pretty cool and gave a lecture on some things I had learned about them. Living creatures are full of wonderful machinery which includes different kinds of timing devices. All corals around the world seem to be programmed to release their eggs on a single day every year. Some kinds of lobsters join together in trains following each other in a tight single file that can stretch for hundreds of feet as they move from deeper water to the shallows each year at the same time. Cicadas spend either 13 or 17 years many feet under the ground and the 17 year kind will emerge from the ground together during a period of several days every 17 years as a winged flying adult. We are waiting for the baby toads to emerge from our pond. The adults lay their eggs in the pond every spring and the tiny tadpoles grow pretty quickly and when they begin to sprout the back legs we know that in a few days they will be ready to shed their tails and climb out of the pond as tiny baby toads the size of a fingernail, but looking almost identical in form to the adults. They all seem to exit the pond as little toadlets on the same night. Thousands of them smaller then peas....

Been reading Charlie Darwin’s famous book about his so-called, “Favored Races” or “Origin of Species” and it’s a good example of how you should never judge a book by it’s reputation. If you look at the Amazon.com reviews, you’d think that it was the greatest piece of literature ever produced! Well I have to say that if the first chapter is any indication of the rest of the book, it’s not looking very positive. Charlie just goes on and on about all this BS about how all these breeders have been capable of transforming this creature into that within just a few short generations. I feel badly that he really believes half of it. Then he pipes in with some of his own breeding prowess claiming that he had, “produced every sort of feather in his pigeons that you could imagine in just a few generations”. Let’s see, how many bird of paradise tail feathers did he come up with, much less peacock,,, well. But, we all know how guys are prone to BS, especially when there’s a little competition goin on! Then there’s the dude that brags about how he can breed any sort of sheep he wanted at will in only 3 generations!!! Charlie seems to hold that character in the highest regard… Of course that’s not to say that in very controlled conditions some very odd varieties of creatures can be sustained for multiple generations. That’s humans selectively breeding various creatures, which is a far cry from....

How Can We Get to Know Our Creator?

There is no magic formula, incantation or ritual that can get you in touch with the Creator. The Creator doesn’t want your stuff, He wants you. He doesn’t want your good deeds or donations, He wants you. He doesn’t want your science or religion, He does want you! He wants you, your trust that He IS just as he has been revealed in the Bible. (“He that comes to God must believe that He is and the He is the rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.”) He wants you to confess that Christ Jesus is His only Son- to God and to other people. (“If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.”) Once you’ve made that connection with our Creator by faith and trust, you can ask Him to fill you with His Spirit to guide and empower you to grow spiritually and learn from Jesus and find fellowship with other believers. He wants to be with you in the good times and the bad. I’ve had to let go of all those “oppositions of science falsely so called” and learn to accept the reality that they are all guesses based on naturalistic assumptions and a very limited human perspective. The reality of the universe is far more mysterious and it’s pretty much completely out of our reach! The Bible is there to give us the information that we need the most....

The Creator has been hard at work in this world ever since He made His offer of salvation to us. His Spirit has been moving faithful men and women to, convince the world of, “sin, of righteousnes and of judgement to come”. Those that will listen to the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus and open their minds and hearts to Him and believe Him will be saved. Those that don’t will be judged as sinners. For thousands of years people have had a great deal of respect for their Creator and wanted to do whatever was necessary to have a hope in Heaven with Him. God’s Spirit sends each of us reminders and people to help us in this quest to know Him. I was aware of this many times as a young science buff and student of the natural sciences. At least I was aware that there were some rather odd circumstances and coincidences that made me wonder if someone wanted my attention. Someone who had command of events in the world and was guiding my steps at times. Our Creator deals with each of us in His own wonderful and mysterious ways. This is the true essence of love. He wants what is best for us at His own expense and inconvenience. For the past 2000 years this message has been sent around the world and His book, the Bible has been translated into nearly every existing language. Before too long, His Son, Christ Jesus will wrap things up for mankind.....

How did science become an antichristian movement? The story is a complex one and I don’t fully understand it. But, there are a few important key players in it’s fall from integrity and usefulness. As far as the role evolutionism has played, there are 2 key figures. Thomas Huxley was a strong proponent of “secularizing” science and a contemporary of the other, namely Charles Darwin. Huxley got a band of his supporters together and formed the “X-Group”. They would get together every fortnight for dinner at a resturant and discuss how they could eliminate any influence that Christianity might have on the pursuit of science. He hoped that through this activism that he could “free” science to become a more profitable profession and increase their status in the community as the new interpreters of the mysteries of the universe, or as they put it, permit more freedom in the flow of ideas. One source of irritation for them was the so called, “fixity of species” interpretation of the Biblical reference to how living things are to “reproduce after their kind”. Of course, there really is no need to veiw “kind” as a synonym for “species”. (But, as it would turn out, species would come to be defined as a “interbreeding group” anyway.) Tom and his buds were looking for some way to drive a wedge between the emerging scientific elitists to get them to push out all humble Bible-believing Christian (“religious”) influence from the “scientific community”. Along came this pigeon breeder....

In the process of keeping a close eye on the developments regarding the push to institute evolutionism as the state religion in the US, it’s becoming more evident that the real driving force behind the movement is a desire within the scientific community to purge itself of inferior (less evolved) men and women. Those that they label as, “antiscience” officially, and many other less kind things more or less off the record. Not only do they wish to purge their own ranks of all Darwin doubters, but also to infect polititians with their ideologies and establish legislative measures that will prevent any dissention in public education. And, then to further help establish the sci-elite and help further man’s “ascent” to greater intellectual height, culling of inferior humanity through “abortion on demond” must be protected at all cost. Of course this is all supposed to be for the “good of humanity”! The Book of Revelations, the last book in the New Testament of the Bible, teaches us about how that in the last days of man’s tenure on this planet, that there will be a last stand where the enemies of God and His Son, Jesus of Nazareth and all those who trust Him as their Savior. Through the years since the Lord Jesus’ resurrection, there has been a constant string of suspects as to who would be the seductive and yet abonimable leader of the antichristian movement in those last days. For many, it was the Pope, others the president at the time,....

I think the so called, “razor occam” or whatever it’s called is rather comical since in reality the opposite is really more accurate. That is that, The solution with the greatest element of mystery, not the fewest assumptions has the highest probability of accuracy. (But, it does have an application when it comes to Darwinism ironically perhaps, and not to its benefit.) Anyway, here’s an axiom that you can bank on, “The accuracy of any scientific theory is inversely proportional to it’s ignorance of the universe’s Designer.” Therefore, “An accurate understanding of any aspect of the universe can only be revealed by it’s Designer.” To carry this a little further, “The degree to which science can produce accurate conclusions is the degree to which those conclusions preserve the mystery of the answer.” As for definitions: Evolution- The creation myth popularized by Charles Darwin that suggests that all living things have and continue to create themselves by the spontaneous generation of novel genetic information and so-called “natural selection”. Science- The pursuit of understanding the universe by solely human means and therefore in effect the further obscurity of its mystery and reality. Wayne Hollyoak

One of my favorite memories of my teenage years was all those summer days I spent out on the Severn River on my little sailboat. It sort of changed my perspective on that thing we call, “wind”. Boats are designed to operate on a liquid substrate and that means that drifting is what they do quite naturally. Whereas with the automobile, drifting on it’s solid substrate can be quite dangerous and as a sport, very demanding of man and machine. In a boat, one way to over come drifting is to “make headway”, or in other words, forwad motion. With my boat that could be achieved in 3 different ways: by rowing with oars, by letting the wind push it with its sails, or running its little outboard motor. Stopping a boat is not very easy most of the time. You can turn off the motor, let down the sails and pull in the oars and even if the wind is completely calm, the boat will continue to drift with currents, thermal convection, intertia and so-forth. So, every wise sailor keeps an anchor and a length of rope on board. The anchor lets you tether your boat from a more or less fixed location as the anchor digs into the mud and sand beneath your boat and the rope tied to it is also (or should be) tied to the boat itself, generally near the “bow” or the front. There was a story in the news recently on a small fishing boat tossed its crew....

If you look real hard at the logic of the Nazis behind the “final solution”, you’ll see a regime that viewed some human beings as “lower” animals and themselves as more “highly evolved”. Modern science propogates the notion that non-religious intellectualism is a mark of a sort of more evolved mankind. People of faith are bullied, belittled, mocked and ridiculed on many “science” forums by university professors of evolution on a continual basis. In most of public education it’s Darwin’s way or the highway. So, what about the highway? I will not recommend that parents send their children to college any more. Children are not animals, nor are they in any way part of the “animal kingdom”! Evolution theory has been thoroughly debunked by Creationists over the past 50 years and the “scientific establishment” has been working overtime to cover this up and has used it’s power and influence in the world to keep the truth about our creation and the love of God out of the classroom. Why, because Darwin’s seductive ideas have convinced them that people of faith are “lesser evolved”? That mankind has “evolved” from “African stock” and other nonsense. The US constitution, and democracy in general. is founded on the “Self-evident truths… that all men are created equal…”. Today, the “scientific establishment” is covering its butt by flooding the schools with supposed evidence to prop up Darwins evolution. As I’ve already said in many earlier posts, they give all sort of evidences of simple adaptation in nature and assert that it “proves”....

What is “evolutionism”? It’s the practice of ignoring the reality that the true God of the Universe has created all things and replacing that with a false god referred to as “evolution”. Evolutionism is strange form of unintelligent natural creationism. The modern form of an old superstition that nature has in some way created itself. Therefore “evolutionism” is just a resurrection of the dubious notion of “spontaneous generation”. However, in this new version of that concept, science is heralded, or should I say, blamed for this delusion. This practice couldn’t have been much more poignantly clear to me than when I watched as the popular preacher of evolutionism, Richard Dawkins, declared glibly in a recent “Nova” TV show, that evolution did this as he stood alongside the enormous toothy jawbone of a sperm whale that’s on exhibit at a museum. That announcement came after a fascinating dissection of a real beached adult sperm whale. The point of the dissection of the “world’s largest living predator” was to display it’s wonderful design and how it is able to dive to the deepest parts of the ocean on a breath of air and feast on squid that it finds using its wonderfully sophisticated form of sonar. Mr. Dawkins almost in the same breath qoutes a passage from the Bible from the book of Job that describes a creature in many ways like the sperm whale.(Dawkins makes no effort to inform the viewer that the context of the passage was that the Creator was asking Job where he....
