Things are Coming Together

I certainly don’t want to rush into limbo by ranting all about the blunders that our government has been making. After all, don’t we elect them? What good would it do anyway since we have allowed them to open the flood gates via the unregulated “internet” giving the world of criminals access to our banks, our healthcare system and educational institutions across Bill’s info superhighway 80, so to speak…

Now with all this globalism and the notion that this is “our” planet and that we need to save it from “global warming”. So, have we really taken over the world? This planet is, and always has been, owned by it’s Creator and He will determine its fate. Of this you can be sure!

Having said that, you can also be sure that all the prophecies of the Bible must be fulfilled. The Creator came to us as Jesus and told us that “heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”. It’s wonderful to see His plan being worked out in this age of free and open communication worldwide which is enabling His people to fulfill Jesus’ prophecy, “And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” This planet is set for destruction and there’s nothing we can do to change that.

Once the good news of Jesus’ offer of salvation and grace for us is communicated to that last unreached group of people the usefulness of the “age of communication” will have run its course. A godless world will be abandoned to its devices as those believers who are alive and remain will be caught up in the air just as the Lord Jesus was taken up after his resurrection.

So, if you believe in Jesus already as Lord, God and Savior, keep on doing so at all cost!. If you don’t, you must reconsider while you still can! I hope you will!

Interesting Things, So-Called Black Holes

There’s been all kinds of notions flying around in science circles about these strange regions of space where light seems to be unable to escape and thus the name “black hole” is applied. The idea is that as a star “dies” it condenses into a mass of neutrons and exerts a gravitational pull so powerful that photons or light producing “particles” are unable to escape making them invisible.

This is an interesting theory especially when combined with the thought that all galaxies may have one of these “black holes” at their cores. Of course, as I’ve already pointed out, all massive bodies should theoretically be hollow and have zero gravity at their cores. Remember, that at the core of these bodies the mass that creates the gravity is surrounding the core equally and thus cancelling out the gravitation field. This will also hold true for even theoretical ultra massive and dense bodies like those theorized “neutron stars”.

So, as these “black holes” would consume all the matter within the powerful gravitational pull, the zero gravity core should make the whole system far more complex and problematic. I would support the idea that each galaxy has a region at it’s core that is pulling all the bodies toward the center. This would explain the fact that most galaxies have a spiral shape as though their motion towards the center has induced a spin or vortex.

So, what does this say about the future of these “galaxies”? Will the spin being induced on them accelerate as the innumerable suns and planets, etc. are pulled toward the center? What will Jesus do with the universe He engineered? He said, “heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

After This

I saw a movie recently that was all about supposed experiences of people who have somehow come back from “near death”. They tell of waking up in a heavenly place or find themselves floating above their body looking down and so forth.  But, in none of these has the person actually experienced death where the bodily functions have stopped, their skin turned black, rigor-mortis has set in and decay has begun. The kind of death experienced by Lazarus in the Bible whom Jesus raised back to life.

These are stories claimed by people who have lost consciousness from coma or trauma of some sort for a brief period. Some say that there are departed people with them that they converse with or are spoke to by. It makes me wonder if some of those that do die will experience a brief taste of heaven prior to their being called to stand before our Creator for His judgment.  Those that die in their sins will be judged and condemned. Before the Lord’s great white throne they will be bound “weeping and gnashing their teeth” and cast into the lake of fire in front of everyone. Those that have been washed clean in the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus, will not be part of that judgment, they will have judged themselves sinners and already received God’s forgiveness thru Jesus the Christ the Son of God our Creator.

The truth is, if you have ever broken one of the Ten Commandments of God, you are guilty of all. You have broken God’s law and the wages of sin is death. You can only be reconciled to your Creator by first believing that Jesus is the Messiah, God come in the flesh, and that you are a sinner needing His forgiveness. Turn away from your sinful lifestyle and old religion and turn to Jesus Christ and let Him have your life and heart. Make sure that you will be ready for that fearful day. Jesus taught, “narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it..”

Jesus also said, “I AM the Way the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by Me.”

The Wrecking Ball

If you wanted to take a wrecking ball to science, how would you go about it? No matter how I would do it, by reason, by expose’, by ridicule, by telling of the real majesty and mystery of our Creator’s engineering tour de force, it will always boil down to God’s Word revealing the truth to every mind and heart. Jesus Christ came to open our eyes to the truth. Science was promoted by Tom Huxley as a way to substitute the truth with man’s notions.

The core of modern science rests on bogus notion of “common descent” and the spontaneous creation of all the genetic information within the “genomes” of some 1 million or so known species of creatures that exist or have existed here on earth. Intelligent design sets out to inform us of the more blatant examples of the ways evolution explains nothing but our own stupidity. “The God of the gaps” they retort… But, they fail to realize that the gaps are all we’ve got.

I watched the movie about Hawk’s life and was amazed at how selfish and egotistical a man could be. But when you really begin to forget about the truth of our being created beings and start applying your faith to the lies of science, that the more you advance and glorify science, the more determined you become to realize your selfish ambitions and “dreams”. His wife devotes her entire life to his success and he devotes his entire life to her failure. In the end she pleads, “admit there is a God, at least give me that, and he gleaming with science induced taunting refuses and sets her up with a choir director to bring her integrity down with an extramarital affair and justify himself as he romances his caretaker. And this is the man of the hour to the “scientific community”. The movie is called, “theory of everything” or something like that. For Steven it looks like that theory is just as elusive as his conscience. But, the deeply troubled man has been hoodwinked by the thing that is dearest to him, the applause of science.

Jesus taught that “broad is the way that leads to destruction.. and narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it.” Science champions the broad way that leads to destruction. Science is the wrecking ball of the human soul.

Man’s Greatest Achievements?

How many heroes are there nowadays? They come in all shapes and forms. Some are living some are dead. But, what are they really? Are they more imagined then real? Actors, musicians, athletes, politicians, preachers, even rebels, outlaws, dogs and cats can become our “heroes”. Yet, the scriptures teach that, “man at his very best is altogether vanity”. So, why do we celebrate people with such intensity and obsession? Is it because we are driven to devotion and we need heroes to bring some hope into our lives that otherwise is missing, or nonexistent? Is it because we aspire to be popular, needing others to love us so that we too can feel valued and appreciated?

When I decided to follow Jesus back in 75′ it was the beginning of the end for all my heroes. Our Creator began opening my eyes and understanding to reality and the fact that my great heroes were just human beings like myself. One of my favorite songs goes, “On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand…” It’s one of the most profound verses ever written. Why, because it summarizes what truly is the height of human achievement and that is to be devoted and confident in Christ Jesus as the One that gave us life and offered Himself so we wouldn’t have to face justice for crimes against Him. On top of all that, He has a place prepared for those that love Him. Again the scriptures tell us, “eye has not seen nor ear heard, the things that God has prepared for those that love Him and are the called according to His purpose”.

How many of our great human heroes are dismal failures in this regard? Some have rejected fame and have preferred to point us towards our Creator as the true hero and this is more of how it should be! Who are the real heroes? Those that direct us back to our Creator, The One that gives us real hope!

Entitlements and Vain Things

What happens when you bring science into the Christian Church? Well for one thing you’ll get something referred to as a “theologian”, or a person who is considered a religious expert. One of those fellers from a while back had trouble with understanding a simple word, namely, “predestination” and thought it meant, “predetermination”. He supposed that there were folks determined by the Creator for hell and those determined for heaven. This false understanding of the Biblical concept of “predestination” has taken the “evangelical” Christian world by storm. In this new amalgamation of the doctrine of “predestination” if someone “ask’s Jesus into their heart” as they put it, they will have sealed their “destiny” as a future citizen of God’s kingdom. As these theologians and preachers tell us, “if you genuinely ask Jesus into your heart”, you are now “eternally secure” and can never lose your salvation. So, what they are saying is that salvation becomes an entitlement for anyone who sincerely asks Jesus into their heart. They argue that if the Bible says we have eternal life when we ask Jesus into our heart, it wouldn’t be eternal if we could lose our salvation.

It really comes back to what salvation really is, Our Creator tells us in the Bible that salvation is a promise. Paul the Apostle taught believers to put on for a helmet, “the hope of salvation”. That is that when a believer stands before the Creator, to be judged at our appointed time in the next life, those who have kept their faith in Jesus as their Savior who offered His blood for our sins will be saved from damnation that would otherwise be the penalty for sin. Then they will say that “salvation is a gift” how can you ever lose a gift, will God take it back? No, it’s a gift true, but one received by faith as a promise for that future day.

I tell folks I am saved and what I am saying is that I am completely confident that Jesus has cancelled my debts as a sinner and as my High Priest has offered himself to cleanse me of all unrighteousness as long -as I believe in Him, that is Jesus, born of the a virgin, crucified, resurrected on the third day and sitting at the right hand of our Creator, the only begotten of the Creator full of grace and truth and the only Way to His Kingdom. At the end of his life the Apostle Paul said, “I have run the course, I have kept the faith…” That’s how our Creator’s gift of salvation must be received! It truly is, “Amazing grace” and not “Amazing grant”. Security comes only in that faith and confidence while we are running the course.

Every man, woman and child must at some point look to Jesus, the one born of a virgin who died on a cross for our salvation, and ask His forgiveness and trust Him for it the rest of their lives. This is Our Creator’s Way to His Kingdom. That promise is clearly stated in the familiar passage: “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever would believe in Him shall to perish but receive eternal life.” We, who have done so, must be very careful to respect that Holy Name of Jesus and always make sure that we honor our Creator by honoring His Son as Our Savior and High Priest and His Father as the only “Holy Father”. He has given us the gift of the Bible as the guide book to stay on His path.

The Lies of Science and the Human Condition

Should we really be surprised that violence is becoming more and more prevalent around the world? This abomination we call, “science”, is turning more a more people away from The God who put us all here. As the teachings of science continue to pour out over humanity like a pyroclastic flow over the souls of people scorching their consciences with contempt for “creationism” and anything that sounds like it and painting godly people as fools, should it come as a surprise that some of those people will actually believe that these “educators” are telling the truth. For a long time I also was sucked into that mess and it wasn’t because I was wanting to know the truth, rather it was because I was careless with trust. I gave merit to the notion that men could understand the things created by Someone far greater than all of us.

It really is impossible to comprehend living creatures based on just what we can see and examine. The complexity and richness of all living things goes way beyond the physical. To begin to really understand living things you must always start with an understanding of their Maker. Science not only bypasses this crucial first step, it is teaching that you should do the opposite. This is the biggest and most dangerous lie to come out of today’s “science”. That is that there is no creator, that living things created themselves, that they were spontaneously generated by completely natural processes.

So, what are the implications of this false teaching? What meaning is there to life? What purpose is there for living things including man? None, unless they perhaps assign one for you and me I suppose. “Hey everybody, let’s save the whales and protect the environment!” If that doesn’t float your boat just being generally selfish and self indulging seems to be a more popular alternative. The godless teachings of science tell us that the future of creation is in our hands when in fact it is completely in the hands of the One that made it including us.

Science Teaches We Are Animals

So, you see that the false premise corrupts everything that follows it. It also corrupts the minds of those that trust it. As people loose hope for a meaningful future, they get desperate and do desperate things. When you teach young people that they are animals, don’t be surprised when they act like animals. Every human life is extremely important. We are not animals in the least! When our Creator willingly went to the cross for us, He proved that forever!

What a Wonderful World!

When you really begin to look at the universe around us as the fantastic engineering marvel that it all is (and it IS!) you will begin to see man’s engineering achievements for what they are, very humble at best. Even matter itself is a feat of engineering beyond comprehension or even imagination! It appears that 3 basic entities of the minutist scale are combined with a vast number of variations in a precise way that can be combined to produce things from dust particles to neutron stars and galaxies.

Galaxies were Engineered

The more we learn about His fantastically glorious engineering by the God of the Universe who has allowed us to approach Him thru Jesus and actually speak to Him and learn from Him, the more of a huge privalege it is to be a part of His creation! I can assure you that He takes a very personal interest in each of us. The Lord Jesus said that a sparrow is sold for very little money and yet none of them falls without its Creator’s (the Father) knowledge. So, He continues saying, How much more valuable are you?

We get all up in the air about a species’ extinction and yet we have no investment in the creature’s design and care. The Tasmanian Tiger was a wonderfully engineered creature that was snuffed out by selfish men and yet it could be easily reintroduced by God if He so pleased at any time. He introduced it once, He could do it again. The same applies to T-Rex and Velociraptor and Spiny, though it wouldn’t make our lives very pleasant would it.

We really need to come to grips with whom we are dealing with. Darwin stuck his head in the sand and wooed the world with his lame excuses in “Origin…” and whatnot. He tried to support spontaneous generation with ad-nauseum overworked natural adaptation. It’s time to wake up and realize the crisis mankind is in. “The wages of sin is death.” Our Creator, the Lord of Heaven and earth came as Jesus to pay those wages for all who are willing to believe and follow Him. This is real love.

If you don’t see our Creator’s commitment to us and His universe, you need to start doing so and consider your own debt to Him.

Making a Difference

Somehow we need to show the world that science is the silly human nonesense that it is. This will only happen as we who understand that this is so, speak up. This blog has been my way of doing so for the past 8 years or so. Actually, this blog sort of chronicles my own transition from a strong faith in science along side my Christian faith to a realization of just how much of a problem science really is for humanity.

At one time I actually thought that scientists and intellectuals were adamant against Christianity because they were ignorant of the wealth of criticism of Darwin’s theory that is out there from Creationists and other critics of evolution. Now I know the truth about the fact that so many die hard evolutionists know the creationist arguments quite well. Well at least the way they learn about them is often 3rd hand from collegues and the media and book reviews, etc.  Oh, how many times have I heard the lame excuses like, “they also say the earth is 5,000 years old”, or “those people don’t really understand evolution”, and such.

I have no idea how old the earth is- and neither does anyone else on this turf to be quite truthful! If you throw out uniformitarianism as a valid assumption, the earth could be just about any number of earth rotations. (I even had one fellow argue with me on a science forum against my supposition that the earth must have changed it’s time of rotation  or daylength quite a bit if it has been around for even a million years.) But, this is the kind of irrational thinking that permeates the sciences these days. True the earth is big and massive, but I can assure you that it is subject to external forces even as we speak.

I am determined to remind us all that science is a human endeavor and as such subject to all of the foibles that come out of fear, confusion, pride, egotism and on and on. Science puts mankind in the same position that Adam and Eve were in due to the lure of the tree, “of the knowledge of good and evil” that is falling into the trap of the serpent, Satan and believing all his lies. He hates us and sees us as scabs that are offered a place in God’s Holy Kingdom in Heaven where He has been rejected and will be sent into eternal flames. Science is the culmination of man’s rebellion against his Creator. An organization that attempts to push Christianity and any respect for our Creator completely out of humanity, as if it really could.

In hypocricy they may say that religion is OK, but that’s only as long as you make it subject to the scientific community. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ! I am ashamed of the way many Christians pander to science as though it is some great thing. It isn’t, though it could be and that’s the sad part. If it tossed evolution (common decent, not simple adaptation) and gave credit to our Creator and acknowledged that we really have no clue about the events of the distant past, there may begin to show some real usefulness to us.

If they won’t study God’s Creation from that perspective, it’s up to us that know the truth about “origins” or how living creatures got here. We don’t need anyone’s approval but the Creator Himself! Peerpressure review is garbage. Journal publication and degrees in this and that is no substitute for real logic and reasoning without sci-political trappings.

I am in an unusual position perhaps in that I know the “theory of evolution” inside and out and that has helped me see thru it as well. I really think that most people still respect the theory more out of respect of the scientific consensus rather than because they really understand the concept. It really is a case of misplaced trust and naivite. I know because I’ve been there. Now, I’m taking a stand.

Our Creator as Engineer

Science has been of little real use to humanity. With all of the revelations that have come to light about the awesome engineering that has gone into living things that are all around us, there is almost no credit given to the actual Designer and Sustainer of each and every one.

There’s a huge wealth of engineering invested in all the creatures on this planet that we share. The world of science is a world of dry bones, clouds without rain, trees without fruit… I’ve learned to take everything that comes out of it as hopelessly warped and misleading. Giving credit for the universe and everything in it to the wild fantasy that spontaneous generation is.

beaver at work
Busy Beaver

If you have any fondness for reality as I do, let’s examine living things in the light of the actual Engineer behind them. Someone that is actually capable of such wonderful things, such feats of design and integration, beauty and efficiency and the accolades could go on infinitely… (“consider the ant and be wise” the scripture says).

How about the beaver? An amazing clever fellow in his own right! They can fell trees all day long with 4 little teeth, dine on the bark and assemble them into complex dam systems that double as dry and secure apartments for mom and dad and several babies and they don’t mind sharing it with several frogs, muskrats and other tennants. Beavers themselves share much of the bodyplan with rats and mice on a gigantic scale and yet they are responsible for cultivating much of the native forests of the American continent! He’s definitely a keystone animal and that is by no doubt a huge design effort and behavioral training on the part of our Creator. The same God that dammed up the sea for the Israelites to pass along the dry seabed with walls of water on both sides as documented in the Book of Exodus.

What about the housefly that so closely resembles the biting stable fly and yet they have completely different mouthparts. Both are wonderfully engineered flying machines again on nearly identical body plans, but serve us in completely diffent ways. Both start out as maggots serving as undertakers and cleanup crews recycling and preventing the spread of disease. One also functions as a cattle prod-and human prod to help prevent an over sedentary existence. Both do what they do extremely well and our lives are better for it.

The Person behind these great achievements is the same that is behind the rest of the universe that spans beyond His planet we call “earth”. All praise and glory must go to Him and Him alone!!
