Forming a Christian Perspective on Science

Christ Jesus will come again as He promised! He will return for those that believe on Him and look for His appearing. It won’t be easy to keep that faith. Many have abandoned this hope and for various reasons they have put their faith in other things. Things that will eventually prove their worthlessness and everyone will realize that they’ve been foolish and lament, but be unable to change their outcome.

The most important thing in every person’s life is their standing with their Creator. Our Creator has provided one Way to freedom and life. That’s through faith in His sacrifice as Christ Jesus on the cross and His life as Lord of our lives. The Creator will only save those that receive His forgiveness through faith in the risen Christ Jesus.

There are and have been through history many other Jesus’ taught by false teachers like, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy, and many movie’s like, “Superstar”, the “Last Temptation”. Jesus taught that imposters would come and many would be deceived and believe lies. To teach that Christ Jesus is anything less than our Creator is blasphemy and a very serious sin.

All humanity has the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with our Creator now and have the hope of a place in His wonderful kingdom. Jesus told his doubting disciple, Thomas, “because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me and yet believe..” But, this is a fundamental error of so called, “science”. Science is obsessed with the opposite. It is simply men and women caught up in a hopeless quest to “understand” the universe and everything in it based on what they are able to perceive. But, what is really happening, is that they end up ignoring the One that matters the most and that they can’t see.

As a result, this seemingly venerable institution is working as hard as it can to undo us. “although they claimed to be wise, they became fools, they exchanged the image on the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or four footed beasts.” They want us to see Christ Jesus as just a man.

The institution of science represents a fulfullment of Jesus’s teaching in that there would be a great “falling away” before His return. So many “scientists” and intellectuals and ordinary folk are becoming swallowed up in this antichristian movement not realizing what’s at stake. Any study of the Creator’s world and universe without the acknowledgement and due credit for who designed and introduced it all is disrespectful. Science intends to move us away from faith in Christ Jesus! I know because I was once a part of the movement and I hope that you will not move away from faith in Christ Jesus, but rather closer to Him.

“Science” isn’t a savior nor does it represent any sort of great achievement on the part of mankind nor is it in any way an authority on any subject. How can we honestly consider anyone an authority on anything the Creator has made when that supposed expert wants to convince you that everything created itself by some magical natural process. The fact that “science” represents itself in such a way, negates any measure of usefulness it may serve us. As long as it supports evolutionism and rejects the actual Creator, we who are believers in Christ Jesus do well to steer clear of the enterprise and ignore all of it’s supposed discoveries as dubious and misleading.

Carry Things Too Far

What happens when humans come up with an basic understanding of how things seem to work? We often give that understanding a broader application than we should. For instance, we think that rooms should generally be square at the corners. So, we begin putting everything in boxes, even in nature and theology and so on.

It’s well understood that the pressure of the soil, sand and rock accumulates as you go deeper into the earth just as the pressure continues to increase as you go deeper under water. This is why submarines all have a depth limit established based on the ability of its hull to withstand the pressure of that water.

But, somehow we have failed to account for the fact that earth is a sphere. Mass produces gravity and attracks objects toward its center of mass. The problem is that the center of a massive sphere like a planet has mass all around more or less equally surrounding and the effect cancels all gravity out and objects at the center of planets are weightless.

All this is pretty well understood. But, the implications are for some disturbing. Most of the “experts” I’ve heard on this are quite sure that all objects in the immediate vacinity of this point of weightlessness would be crushed by the “accumulative weight” of everything about it. This is what happens when you carry an idea too far and that “expert” status generate momentum for limited observation.

What really happens in the case of a planet, is that the gravity rolls off once you reach a point which I would call, “the spherical horizon effect”. As the mass surrounding an object increases above an object passing into a spherical mass towards the center, the pressure of that mass above the object gradually will deminish as the weight of the material get’s lighter and lighter.

So, the material above at some point begin to apply less pressure then even the atmosphere upon the surface of the sphere. There could be a gas “bubble” where the low pressure could allow the gaseous state to exist. And not just a little foot diameter one. But, an extensive one perhaps hundreds of miles across. In the low pressure conditions at the central region, most gases would work their way to the vast central cavity.

But, this kind of thinking tends to be repulsive to the “experts” I suppose since there is a so-called “hollow earth” movement that claims that there lives a civilization of non-human people that live there. Now, I don’t know about all that! But, admitting that planets may very well have a gaseous cavity of some measure at their cores doesn’t add much credence to the “hollow earth” people stuff. So, why not just admit that stuff gradually gets lighter as you go deeper in the earth and somewhere that crushing force from material above begins to decrease till it’s completely weightless.
