Darwin’s Racism Came Out in “Descent of Man”

Here are some examples of Darwin’s writings in “Descent of Man”. By linking man with apes via his so-called theory of “evolution” and his central thesis of “common descent” he starts to put the “savages” and “negros” beneath “civilized man” on the supposed transition from ape to man.

Savages as intermediate states between people and apes:

“It has been asserted that the ear of man alone possesses a lobule; but ‘a rudiment of it is found in the gorilla’ and, as I hear from Prof. Preyer, it is not rarely absent in the negro.

“The sense of smell is of the highest importance to the greater number of mammals–to some, as the ruminants, in warning them of danger; to others, as the Carnivora, in finding their prey; to others, again, as the wild boar, for both purposes combined. But the sense of smell is of extremely slight service, if any, even to the dark coloured races of men, in whom it is much more highly developed than in the white and civilised races.”

“The account given by Humboldt of the power of smell possessed by the natives of South America is well known, and has been confirmed by others. M. Houzeau asserts that he repeatedly made experiments, and proved that Negroes and Indians could recognise persons in the dark by their odour. Dr. W. Ogle has made some curious observations on the connection between the power of smell and the colouring matter of the mucous membrane of the olfactory region as well as of the skin of the body. I have, therefore, spoken in the text of the dark-coloured races having a finer sense of smell than the white races….Those who believe in the principle of gradual evolution, will not readily admit that the sense of smell in its present state was originally acquired by man, as he now exists. He inherits the power in an enfeebled and so far rudimentary condition, from some early progenitor, to whom it was highly serviceable, and by whom it was continually used.”

“It appears as if the posterior molar or wisdom-teeth were tending to become rudimentary in the more civilised races of man. These teeth are rather smaller than the other molars, as is likewise the case with the corresponding teeth in the chimpanzee and orang; and they have only two separate fangs. … In the Melanian races, on the other hand, the wisdom-teeth are usually furnished with three separate fangs, and are generally sound; they also differ from the other molars in size, less than in the Caucasian races.

“It is an interesting fact that ancient races, in this and several other cases, more frequently present structures which resemble those of the lower animals than do the modern. One chief cause seems to be that the ancient races stand somewhat nearer in the long line of descent to their remote animal-like progenitors.”

“It has often been said, as Mr. Macnamara remarks, that man can resist with impunity the greatest diversities of climate and other changes; but this is true only of the civilised races. Man in his wild condition seems to be in this respect almost as susceptible as his nearest allies, the anthropoid apes, which have never yet survived long, when removed from their native country.”

This includes the degraded morals of lower races:

“The above view of the origin and nature of the moral sense, which tells us what we ought to do, and of the conscience which reproves us if we disobey it, accords well with what we see of the early and undeveloped condition of this faculty in mankind…. A North-American Indian is well pleased with himself, and is honoured by others, when he scalps a man of another tribe; and a Dyak cuts off the head of an unoffending person, and dries it as a trophy. … With respect to savages, Mr. Winwood Reade informs me that the negroes of West Africa often commit suicide. It is well known how common it was amongst the miserable aborigines of South America after the Spanish conquest. … It has been recorded that an Indian Thug conscientiously regretted that he had not robbed and strangled as many travellers as did his father before him. In a rude state of civilisation the robbery of strangers is, indeed, generally considered as honourable.”

“As barbarians do not regard the opinion of their women, wives are commonly treated like slaves. Most savages are utterly indifferent to the sufferings of strangers, or even delight in witnessing them. It is well known that the women and children of the North-American Indians aided in torturing their enemies. Some savages take a horrid pleasure in cruelty to animals, and humanity is an unknown virtue….. Many instances could be given of the noble fidelity of savages towards each other, but not to strangers; common experience justifies the maxim of the Spaniard, “Never, never trust an Indian.”

“The other so-called self-regarding virtues, which do not obviously, though they may really, affect the welfare of the tribe, have never been esteemed by savages, though now highly appreciated by civilised nations. The greatest intemperance is no reproach with savages.”

“I have entered into the above details on the immorality of savages, because some authors have recently taken a high view of their moral nature, or have attributed most of their crimes to mistaken benevolence. These authors appear to rest their conclusion on savages possessing those virtues which are serviceable, or even necessary, for the existence of the family and of the tribe,–qualities which they undoubtedly do possess, and often in a high degree.”

Making slavery understandable, though of course distasteful now:

“Slavery, although in some ways beneficial during ancient times, is a great crime; yet it was not so regarded until quite recently, even by the most civilised nations. And this was especially the case, because the slaves belonged in general to a race different from that of their masters.”

Mass killings of savages is understandable as a type of species extinction:

“At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes, as Professor Schaaffhausen has remarked will no doubt be exterminated. The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state, as we may hope, even than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as now between the negro or Australian and the gorilla.”

“The partial or complete extinction of many races and sub-races of man is historically known….When civilised nations come into contact with barbarians the struggle is short, except where a deadly climate gives its aid to the native race…. The grade of their civilisation seems to be a most important element in the success of competing nations. A few centuries ago Europe feared the inroads of Eastern barbarians; now any such fear would be ridiculous.”

“[Flinders Island], situated between Tasmania and Australia, is forty miles long, and from twelve to eighteen miles broad: it seems healthy, and the natives were well treated. Nevertheless, they suffered greatly in health….With respect to the cause of this extraordinary state of things, Dr. Story remarks that death followed the attempts to civilise the natives.” [–Obviously the problem was trying to civilize these barbarians!]

“Finally, although the gradual decrease and ultimate extinction of the races of man is a highly complex problem, depending on many causes which differ in different places and at different times; it is the same problem as that presented by the extinction of one of the higher animals.”

Of course the degradation extends to the intellectual:

“There is, however, no doubt that the various races, when carefully compared and measured, differ much from each other,–as in the texture of the hair, the relative proportions of all parts of the body …Their mental characteristics are likewise very distinct; chiefly as it would appear in their emotional, but partly in their intellectual faculties. Every one who has had the opportunity of comparison, must have been struck with the contrast between the taciturn, even morose, aborigines of S. America and the light-hearted, talkative negroes. There is a nearly similar contrast between the Malays and the Papuans who live under the same physical conditions, and are separated from each other only by a narrow space of sea.”

” A certain amount of absorption of mulattoes into negroes must always be in progress; and this would lead to an apparent diminution of the former. The inferior vitality of mulattoes is spoken of in a trustworthy work as a well-known phenomenon; and this, although a different consideration from their lessened fertility, may perhaps be advanced as a proof of the specific distinctness of the parent races.”

“So far as we are enabled to judge, although always liable to err on this head, none of the differences between the races of man are of any direct or special service to him. The intellectual and moral or social faculties must of course be excepted from this remark.”

Darwin Concludes:

“The main conclusion arrived at in this work, namely, that man is descended from some lowly organised form, will, I regret to think, be highly distasteful to many. But there can hardly be a doubt that we are descended from barbarians. The astonishment which I felt on first seeing a party of Fuegians on a wild and broken shore will never be forgotten by me, for the reflection at once rushed into my mind-such were our ancestors. These men were absolutely naked and bedaubed with paint, their long hair was tangled, their mouths frothed with excitement, and their expression was wild, startled, and distrustful. … He who has seen a savage in his native land will not feel much shame, if forced to acknowledge that the blood of some more humble creature flows in his veins.”

“For my own part I would as soon be descended from …[a] monkey, or from that old baboon… –as from a savage who delights to torture his enemies, offers up bloody sacrifices, practices infanticide without remorse, treats his wives like slaves, knows no decency, and is haunted by the grossest superstitions.

What about the sexes?

“The chief distinction in the intellectual powers of the two sexes is shewn by man’s attaining to a higher eminence, in whatever he takes up, than can woman–whether requiring deep thought, reason, or imagination, or merely the use of the senses and hands…We may also infer, from the law of the deviation from averages, so well illustrated by Mr. Galton, in his work on ‘Hereditary Genius,’ that if men are capable of a decided pre-eminence over women in many subjects, the average of mental power in man must be above that of woman.”

“The greater intellectual vigour and power of invention in man is probably due to natural selection, combined with the inherited effects of habit, for the most able men will have succeeded best in defending and providing for themselves and for their wives and offspring.”

Darwin’s Solution? “Social Darwinism”:

“The advancement of the welfare of mankind is a most intricate problem: all ought to refrain from marriage who cannot avoid abject poverty for their children; for poverty is not only a great evil, but tends to its own increase by leading to recklessness in marriage. On the other hand, as Mr. Galton has remarked, if the prudent avoid marriage, whilst the reckless marry, the inferior members tend to supplant the better members of society. Man, like every other animal, has no doubt advanced to his present high condition through a struggle for existence consequent on his rapid multiplication; and if he is to advance still higher, it is to be feared that he must remain subject to a severe struggle. Otherwise he would sink into indolence, and the more gifted men would not be more successful in the battle of life than the less gifted. Hence our natural rate of increase, though leading to many and obvious evils, must not be greatly diminished by any means. There should be open competition for all men; and the most able should not be prevented by laws or customs from succeeding best and rearing the largest number of offspring.”

“We civilized men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination; we build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed, and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one to the last moment. There is reason to believe that vaccination has preserved thousands, who from a weak constitution would formerly have succumbed to small-pox. Thus the weak members of civilized societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man. It is surprising how soon a want of care, or care wrongly directed, leads to the degeneration of a domestic race; but excepting in the case of man himself, hardly any one is so ignorant as to allow his worst animals to breed.”

That last comment should let you know where he’s coming from… Darwin’s theory of “evolution” has perhaps been the single most destructive lies ever perpetrated by mankind. The equality of all mankind was Darwin’s worst nightmare , but something we all need to teach and strive for.

Genetic Engineering and Other Obsurdities

Science is a world of ignorance punctuated by bits of insight. This truth is evident in such human endeavors as: pharmaceuticals, evolution, education, genetically modified organisms “GMO”, gene patents, sociology, cosmology (the granddaddy of them all), physics (notably nuclear physics), to name a few.  There will always be problems when you monkey with correctly engineered things. This is so important to realize when considering altering the genetics of living things. I realize that the genomes of all living things are subject to decay and after innumerable replications of these wonderful creatures all around us and ourselves, and the forces at work , that some of the original genetic information has decayed as well.

Signs of Corn Seed Accounting?

This level of engineering is so far above anything that has ever come out of science that it makes our feeble attempts look like mud pies. So, why are we trying to fix it, or worse yet, modify it? Do the drug companies ever listen to the disclaimers in their commercials? Just think of growing use of bacterial genetic material  being spliced into corn genes to make them produce a pesticide that will protect the corn from bugs. Will that pesticide end up in the corn we eat? Will the bacteria also modify our genes to turn humans into pesticide factories? How else will the new genes effect the corn, will the bugs become resistant to the pesticide?

We’re dealing with processes and machinery operating entirely at the atomic level and therefore impossible to monitor with any level of precision. There is some level of regulation by the government and in some cases an intense approval process in place to minimize negative impact. But, then again, the organizations spearheading these efforts are science-based usually and these folks still believe in superstitious things like evolutionism and such. Breeding plants and animals based on naturally occurring variations is one thing, but playing Russian roulette  with their genes is just insanely dangerous especially when the motivation is profit driven.

Above all, it’s imperative to acknowledge that living things have a Creator who knows what we are up to! As we consider that fact, perhaps we will set aside these foolish enterprises.

Thoughts on the Nye – Ham Evolution Debate

Mr. Nye definitely expressed his huge faith in the institution we call, “science”. One of the main things he harped on over and over was the predictive ability of modern theories from science over the Biblical perspective. The Bible gives a very brief summary of how the God of Heaven went about creating everything at that time which was, “In the beginning”. It gives us the information we need to know and that’s all. All science does is observe the present and extrapolates forwards and backwards basing everthing on what we see happening now. Science predicts that what is happening now will continue in the future. Well at least as far as we have been able to observe and for the past 100 years that thinking seems to have worked for the most part. In the same breath he insists that the universe is many billions of years old and expects us to respect the assertion of his beloved “science” that that 100 years of observed natural processes must be applied to all the rest of that span of time!

Ham resisted that notion entirely and reminded the audience that observable processes can only be applied to the here and now and to extend them beyond the observed period requires faith in multitudes of assumptions. Faith in the Biblical perspective only requires have less faith in science and more trust in our Creator to give us the account of what really happened and what none of us was able to observe first hand.

Nye preached faith in science and Ham preached faith in our Creator and His account of how we got here. It amazes me that after all this time since Huxley and the X-Club started their efforts to turn the world away from the Bible and our Creator, science is still harping on the same line. Science is better than the Bible because it is man-centered and managable intellectually. The Bible predicts that man has been, is, and will continue to be  fallible and selfish and generally doesn’t have a clue.  The apish enterprise we call, “science” has effectively proven that these Biblical teachings hold true. Maybe that is an unfair comparison for the apes seem to know their place better than we.

“Man at his very best state is altogether vanity…”

How Does Darwinism Survive?

Darwin’s theory is horrible factually, intellectually(I could care less about science!) and logically. The fact that “science” has backed it whole heartedly really emphasizes just how blind and lame the big enterprise is. But, the reality is, how can science be reconciled to its perceived nemisis, the seemingly less sophisticated ‘creationists’? But, the simple argument called, “intelligent design” has sealed Darwin’s fate. Now any “scientist” that tries to refute ID is left being made to look like a kook.

To the average public it’s obvious that ID is an evolution killer. It’s the intellectuals and scientists that have for so long bashed and belittled creationists that can’t seem to break free of the antichristian mindset. The mindset that was set in place by Huxley and the X-Club, that science had replaced Christianity as the herald of a new age of human evolution and achievement instead of reconciliation, peace and devotion to our Creator thru Christ Jesus. Thomas Huxley believed that Biblical Christianity had vanished by the 2nd century and that it was now up to scientists to eliminate all vestiges of Christianity and teach the world that we are accidents of nature and our lives are meaningless and death is final.

Science is the faith of death contrasted by the faith in Jesus is life. Jesus is reality and science is a pathetic farce. And yet science holds fast to its misplaced faith in Darwin and itself. They even dig in their heels and declare some of themselves as, “evolution scientists”! They are doing all they can to paint a castle on the crumbling shack. Not a single new form of life worthy of the title, “genus” has ever been documented out of the sum 1,000,000 or so known species of life. Much less anything we can possible call a new, “order”, “family”, etc. For all we can tell natural biological adaptation is hard pressed to even produce enough change to come up with something barely resembling a new “species” even with all it’s variety of definitions.

I have had the good fortune to have a good handle on what evolution theory is having a BS in Biology and it’s helped me see thru the arguments of the evolutionists. It’s important to really digest the principles of physics, genetics, geology,  and so on. To tease out what has real support, like reversion to wilds, and what doesn’t, like common-descent. When you see the artistry in nature, you can no longer ignore a real Creator as its Artist sublime!

So, how does Darwinism survive? Because those that see thru it are cowards, too proud, too comfortable perhaps. All I can say is the Creator is watching….

Passive versus Active Engineering in Living Things

From an engineering standpoint it’s very important to emphasise the advantages of direct engineering over passive engineering. Passive engineering relies exclusively on trial and error. Edison developed the incadescent light bulb in this way. He knew that a metal wire would emit light when enough elecrical current was passed thru it. The problem was to get that light to be emitted  at a temperature sufficiently below the metal’s melting point. And, after a long process of trying all sorts of different metal wires he eventually tried tungsten and got the results he wanted. Passive engineering is slow and inefficient to say the least. If Edison had more complete data on the light emission vs. melting point characteristics of all metals at his disposal, he could have known exactly which one to use and could have actively engineered his light bulb based on that information. He might have realized that plasma based lighting would have been a much better path to pursue had he been privy to plasma physics. When it came time to generate the needed electrical power to light all those bulbs he was making Edison’s passive approach to engineering kept him in the direct current box. Nichola Tesla had a more active approach to engineering that freed him from endless trials and errors. He instead ran the trials mentally and was able to produce a completely functual “prototype” without any need for physical trials. Tesla had a mind for physics that was way beyond Edison’s. He realized that electricity travelled farther and more efficientlywhen the electrons were just shoved back and forth instead of pushed exclusively in one direction. The electrons just needed to pass thru the wire, it didn’t matter which direction they were going. So Edison failed miserably to light all his light bulbs with his DC generators. Today AC generators keep up a power grid that spans continents with amazing efficiency thanks to Tesla’s active approach to engineering.

Living things were actively engineered. We know this because precise understanding of physics that is needed to even half-way reproduce it by human efforts. Darwin thought that passive engineering could have engineered all of life on earth by “natural selection” that is passive engineering or trial and error at work in nature. Darwinism is exclusively a passive engineering creation myth. It might be a little better than some pagan myths, but not by much.

Trial and error passive engineering is just a little bit past futile, but it’s pretty close. And that approach is much closer to futile in the world of bio-engineering. To bio-engineer things right you need first a full knowledge of 3-dimensional molecular physics and that means a tour de force ability to build molecular machinery to fulfill all the needs of a living organism that can replicate itself precisely and continuously. This is by no means the stuff of passive engineering even with an infinite amount of time. It just won’t happen!!!

Simplistic Science

I’ve been thinking about how pathetic science has become as a result of taking it’s prefered path down the atheistic road to nowhere. I try to keep track of the comments made of various sites about ID and give the antichristian scoffers something to chew on. Just throw out a little bone to see if they can grasp the fact that Darwin was out to lunch with his self-made creation fable.

Science has lifted up its voice against our real Creator and His people and the end of that sort of sin is never good! Think of it, is there another religion in all the world that has invented a more simplistic and pathetic creation myth as evolution? It’s like saying that the Mona Lisa is a finger painting made be a 2 year old only several orders of magnitude more vile.

I’m saying all this because I know that there are still a few out there that care about the truth. So, I want you to know that the Spirit of Jesus the Christ IS the Spirit of Truth! If anyone will come to Him, they will know the Truth and the Truth will set them free!

So, I’m embarassed to admit that I ever had respect of science and I feel badly for anyone who still does. They have less understanding of what life is really about then a newborn and yet they talk like they have just about all the universe figured out.

The scientist boasts of his published babblings about this and that,
that tickle the ears of his peers with a rat a tat tat.
He pursues his research and experimental studies,
To skillfully pursuade his doubtful buddies.

In Darwin’s pigeon cage he sits
though when the creationist rattles it
He won’t fly out but rather fits.
He prefers the voice of the dead man,
that has imprisoned his soul.

His pride soars above the heavens,
his mind flys far above his head,
The scientist goes up to his highest perch,
To fool himself that his Creator is not.

Darwin had many pigeons then and many more today.
They still sit in his cage and every so often a creationist,
Comes along to try to clean his mess out.
With great wise sounding words the pigeon talks down to him
They smear their mess on them if they can.

But, who really cares what the scientist has to say,
Other than the other pigeons in Darwin’s cage?

Why Evolution is a Hoax at Best

Evolution as a theory of origins completely humiliates science. It makes a creator god out of mutation and adaptation and so-called “natural selection”. It insists that all of the diversity of life on earth is the result of a designer that must (by the declaration of the US Supreme Court) be taught in public schools as having an IQ of ZERO!

Evolution as a theory of origins or in other words as a “creation story” stands in the face of everything we know about how complex things are brought into being. Whether it be a whicker basket or a space shuttle, and certainly something an order of magnitude more complex and efficient like a living cell, you will always need someone with adequate skills and resources to put it together. A basket requires a certain level of skill and intelligence, a space shuttle was the result of a team of the world’s best engineers with proven intelligence, a living cell cannot come into existence without the required skill and intelligence! No matter how you try to slice and dice mutation and adaptation, without the required intelligence or decision making skills, and resources required, a living reproducing cell (much less a fish, or ant, or human) could not have come into existence!

So, what do I conclude about how this great creation came about? I admit that I don’t have much more than a few sentences about it given to us by the One behind it. I must be carefull not to interpret those passages of scripture or alter them to say what I like. The One that engineered life on earth is One that deserves deep respect for the record He has given us. Is the New Testament the only place where our Creator uses parables? I don’t know! It’s not my place to judge and neither is it yours.

The theory of evolution as a creation story is just a justification for blasphemy and nothing more. It’s an abnomination that a godless generation wants to throw up in the face of the Creator of the universe and us. The Creator that proved His love for us and sustains us at this very moment. The One that deserves our love, confidence and the highest respect. It attempts to take away our Creator’s rights to his creation including us and reducing His reality to just “blind faith, sentiment, tradition, human imagination” or worse.

Looking Through a Glass Darkly

US public tv has been running a series of new shows about the universe. It chronicles the “advances” in our understanding of the universe. The “big bang”, the Hubble Telescope, “dark energy” and “dark matter” and stuff like that. First there was the “red shift” and the “expanding universe”, then there was the “big bang idea”, then the establishment for the “age” of the universe at “13.7 Billion Years” based on the supposed accelleration of objects out there and so forth.

They make is sound as if everything has been figured out! The wonderful achievements of man with celebrations and award ceremonies! Now, there are the challenges of “dark energy and dark matter” to tackle. The space telescope has revealed a vast and complex universe most of which is a visual artifact from many millions of years in the past. We have no way of actually telling if any of it is still really there if it’s much further out past our own little galaxy, the “Milky Way”.

In fact, we have only just recently managed to send a probe out beyond this tiny solar system. We think we know so much about the universe and yet as this lonely probe leaves our solar system into open space there is bated breath waiting to find out what open space is really like. So, what’s just outside of our solar system is still a mystery. That might only be a few “light hours” away. So, how much do we REALLY know about these phantoms that we see in the night sky. So many of which existed million and even billions of years ago if they are right about that. For all we know, they may have been removed long ago leaving a visual record a long stream of radiation that could run out at any moment.

Science is a game of educated guessing and NOTHING MORE! The fundamental rule of modern science is, “seeing is believing”. A sort of “photon-based” reality show based on fringe ideas that grab our imaginations. Just like so many scifi shows that paint a loosly “science” based picture of space, the future, etc. But, never seem to touch on financial accountability. How even crude space flight programs like the space shuttle can bring NASA to it’s knees.

Jesus worked long and hard to cultivate a place for mankind to be introduced. He knew full well the price He would have to pay for His efforts and hard work to give us a place that we could enjoy and hopefully appreciate. Maybe you find it hard to believe. But, that won’t make it any less true. Reality is reality.

In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made for Him and by Him. Without Him was not anything made that was made. He came to His own and His own received Him not. But, to as many as received Him He gave them power to become the sons of God. Even to as many as believed on His Name. (The Book of John chapter one)

Forming a Christian Perspective on Science

Christ Jesus will come again as He promised! He will return for those that believe on Him and look for His appearing. It won’t be easy to keep that faith. Many have abandoned this hope and for various reasons they have put their faith in other things. Things that will eventually prove their worthlessness and everyone will realize that they’ve been foolish and lament, but be unable to change their outcome.

The most important thing in every person’s life is their standing with their Creator. Our Creator has provided one Way to freedom and life. That’s through faith in His sacrifice as Christ Jesus on the cross and His life as Lord of our lives. The Creator will only save those that receive His forgiveness through faith in the risen Christ Jesus.

There are and have been through history many other Jesus’ taught by false teachers like, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy, and many movie’s like, “Superstar”, the “Last Temptation”. Jesus taught that imposters would come and many would be deceived and believe lies. To teach that Christ Jesus is anything less than our Creator is blasphemy and a very serious sin.

All humanity has the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with our Creator now and have the hope of a place in His wonderful kingdom. Jesus told his doubting disciple, Thomas, “because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me and yet believe..” But, this is a fundamental error of so called, “science”. Science is obsessed with the opposite. It is simply men and women caught up in a hopeless quest to “understand” the universe and everything in it based on what they are able to perceive. But, what is really happening, is that they end up ignoring the One that matters the most and that they can’t see.

As a result, this seemingly venerable institution is working as hard as it can to undo us. “although they claimed to be wise, they became fools, they exchanged the image on the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or four footed beasts.” They want us to see Christ Jesus as just a man.

The institution of science represents a fulfullment of Jesus’s teaching in that there would be a great “falling away” before His return. So many “scientists” and intellectuals and ordinary folk are becoming swallowed up in this antichristian movement not realizing what’s at stake. Any study of the Creator’s world and universe without the acknowledgement and due credit for who designed and introduced it all is disrespectful. Science intends to move us away from faith in Christ Jesus! I know because I was once a part of the movement and I hope that you will not move away from faith in Christ Jesus, but rather closer to Him.

“Science” isn’t a savior nor does it represent any sort of great achievement on the part of mankind nor is it in any way an authority on any subject. How can we honestly consider anyone an authority on anything the Creator has made when that supposed expert wants to convince you that everything created itself by some magical natural process. The fact that “science” represents itself in such a way, negates any measure of usefulness it may serve us. As long as it supports evolutionism and rejects the actual Creator, we who are believers in Christ Jesus do well to steer clear of the enterprise and ignore all of it’s supposed discoveries as dubious and misleading.

Carry Things Too Far

What happens when humans come up with an basic understanding of how things seem to work? We often give that understanding a broader application than we should. For instance, we think that rooms should generally be square at the corners. So, we begin putting everything in boxes, even in nature and theology and so on.

It’s well understood that the pressure of the soil, sand and rock accumulates as you go deeper into the earth just as the pressure continues to increase as you go deeper under water. This is why submarines all have a depth limit established based on the ability of its hull to withstand the pressure of that water.

But, somehow we have failed to account for the fact that earth is a sphere. Mass produces gravity and attracks objects toward its center of mass. The problem is that the center of a massive sphere like a planet has mass all around more or less equally surrounding and the effect cancels all gravity out and objects at the center of planets are weightless.

All this is pretty well understood. But, the implications are for some disturbing. Most of the “experts” I’ve heard on this are quite sure that all objects in the immediate vacinity of this point of weightlessness would be crushed by the “accumulative weight” of everything about it. This is what happens when you carry an idea too far and that “expert” status generate momentum for limited observation.

What really happens in the case of a planet, is that the gravity rolls off once you reach a point which I would call, “the spherical horizon effect”. As the mass surrounding an object increases above an object passing into a spherical mass towards the center, the pressure of that mass above the object gradually will deminish as the weight of the material get’s lighter and lighter.

So, the material above at some point begin to apply less pressure then even the atmosphere upon the surface of the sphere. There could be a gas “bubble” where the low pressure could allow the gaseous state to exist. And not just a little foot diameter one. But, an extensive one perhaps hundreds of miles across. In the low pressure conditions at the central region, most gases would work their way to the vast central cavity.

But, this kind of thinking tends to be repulsive to the “experts” I suppose since there is a so-called “hollow earth” movement that claims that there lives a civilization of non-human people that live there. Now, I don’t know about all that! But, admitting that planets may very well have a gaseous cavity of some measure at their cores doesn’t add much credence to the “hollow earth” people stuff. So, why not just admit that stuff gradually gets lighter as you go deeper in the earth and somewhere that crushing force from material above begins to decrease till it’s completely weightless.
